Greatest Game of its time and from 2001 to 2012 I played it and visiting it once in a while after that. Nothing like it at the time with the open-ended map with tremendous mods from any era of conflict! Best game of the decade!

What makes me feel for gamers today is that we don't have many games like that anymore. I mean, it's bulsshit that you have to shoot the enemy up to 10 times to get him dead. In H&H you could feel the power of the weapon. And the same apllied to you. You didn't have a super soldier that could take multiple shot all the time. That shit made every shootout very intense and scary. It was heavy and you felt the weight of not wanting to get hit at all. Taking care to be fast, precise, outsmart the enemy. It felt sooo good when you actually did the right strategy to repel a hard attack! What a great game. And I didn't even mentioned the small mechanics. Like going to disguise yourself and go undercover, planing your attacks from the map view and getting your men to execute the orders in a algoritm or also give them orders in real time by the comands on the numberpad... all the variety of very detailed terrains, different weapons, equipments, uniforms... It's a 21 years old game. Yeah, they don't make games like that anymore.
